Course Fees: Please read carefully.
Registration Fee: $50/student and nonrefundable, this is counted towards your total tuition.
By enrolling your student in Writing Home Courses, you understand that you are financially obligated to pay for the entire course, even if you withdraw before the year is over. Tuition is nonrefundable* and nontransferable**. (See exceptions for algebra, below.)
Course fees are due in full by July15, 2024. If we do not receive your payment by that date, we will un-enroll your students and offer their places to those next on the wait list.
If you are unable to pay course fees in full by July 15, please contact us for a payment plan. (Payments made on a payment schedule will incur an increase 10% of your total cost.)
*Nonrefundable means that you owe for the entire course, whether your student completes the year with us or not.
**Nontransferable means that you pay for the course you registered for. You cannot drop one course and apply the fees to another; likewise, you cannot withdraw one student and apply his payments to another student’s courses.
Exceptions for pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2: If an algebra student is withdrawn by parents or staff by September 18 because he/she was not adequately prepared for the course, tuition will be refunded except for $50. If an algebra student is withdrawn by parents or staff by October 9 because he/she did not meet our requirements for homework submission or test scores, two thirds of the tuition will be refunded. After October 10 there will be no refunds. A student may transfer from one algebra course to the other with no penalty.
