Algebra 2

Course Information


There is currently no Algebra 2 class meeting. If you’re interested please contact Mr. B or Mrs. B

The first day of class will be Tuesday, 9/5, at 1:00 pm.

We will be meeting one day per week. Tuesdays, 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

Please order the textbook now, if you haven’t already: Saxon’s Algebra 2, An Incremental Development, 3rd edition. Please make sure you purchase the third edition.

Your student should bring to class every day:

The textbook
Scientific calculator (not graphing)
A pencil or pen (black or blue ink)
Paper: Standard-size loose leaf white college-ruled lined paper

Size: either 8.5 by 11 inch or 8 by 10.5 inch. Please not smaller.
Homework and tests should be turned in on this type of paper.
Please, no spiral notebook paper, or graph paper, or other colors of paper than white.
Spiral notebooks may be used for taking notes, but not required.


Mr. Baumgaertel will teach this course for students who have successfully completed Algebra I. This course will proceed at half-speed, in that two weeks will be devoted to every four lessons instead of one week.  A test will be given every other week.
