Calendar of Events
Below is the schedule for Writing Home classes for this coming school year. Note that I have a break scheduled for October because of our family's vacation plans, and that I don't as yet have a "spring break" scheduled. As you plan for this year, please remember that we all home school -- meaning that we are free to set our own schedules and do what is best for our families, including time off for vacations, hunting trips, etc. I support your family time, and can work with you if your child misses a few classes.
Schedule
September 5: Honors English, and all science classes begin.
September 9: All writing classes, and Mrs. Mealey's literature/history classes begin.
October 7, 10, 14, 17: NO CLASS.
November 28: NO CLASS
December 16- January 2: Christmas break
January 6: Writing classes and Mrs. Mealey's classes begin.
January 9: Honors English and all science classes begin.
Spring break and ending dates will be determined by January. Usually writing classes break early in May, and science classes continue until the end of May. S
Upcoming Events
- Parent Meeting on August 21, 10 a.m. at my house. We will discuss teaching policies, website navigation for homework assignments, online grade book access, etc. This meeting is especially helpful for families new to my classes.
